Nota in Cefalù, Acireale, Palermo. Un Sigismondo con privilegio del 4 luglio 1508, ottenne il titolo di regio cavaliere; un Giacomo, da Trapani, fu chiaro giureconsulto lodato dal Mongitore (Bibl. Sic. vol. I, pag. 301: "Drepanitanus jureconsultus doctissimus, ac primarium causarum patrones. Floruit anno 1650. Multa in jure scripsit at solum extant: Allegationes apud Paulum Peramuntum in conflictu jure consultorum". (Panormi typis Agustini Bsii 1671 in fol.); un Antonio, palermitano, fu filosofo e medico illustre e di lui lo stesso mongitore (Bibl. Sic. vol. I, pag. 69) scrisse: "Panormitanus Philosophiae et Medicinae doctor eximius. Panormi non sine laude medicinam fecit, ibique decessit 10 octobris 1672 et in Ecclesia S.
