La familia Argenta, que el 30 de noviembre de 1844, logró ser agregada a la nobleza de Pérgola en la persona de Pietro, y en agradecimiento por tener al mencionado Pietro en 1843 abierto a sus ricos graneros a la población hambrienta con motivo de la fuerte hambruna que tuvo en 1843 golpear el territorio argentino. La bibliografía de esta familia es mencionada por el marqués Vittorio Spreti, en su Enciclopedia Histórica-Noble italiana impresa en Milán en 1936. Recopilando manuscritos de contenido heráldico y noble-genealógico, entre bibliotecas y en muchos archivos públicos y privados. Los testimonios y documentos recopilados para la formación del trabajo en cuestión fueron transmitidos por la propia familia. Como se muestra en la Revista Heráldica editada por el Colegio Heráldico de Roma.
