Famille Argenta qui, le 30 novembre 1844, obtint d'être agrégée à la Noblesse de Pergola en la personne de Pietro, et ceci en remerciement d'avoir fait ouvrir ledit Pietro en 1843 à ses riches greniers à la population affamée à l'occasion de la forte la famine qu'il avait en 1843 a frappé le territoire argentin. La bibliographie de cette famille est mentionnée par le marquis Vittorio Spreti, dans son Encyclopédie historique-noble italienne imprimée à Milan en 1936. Collecte de manuscrits de contenu héraldique et noble-généalogique, parmi les bibliothèques et dans de nombreuses archives publiques et privées. Les témoignages et documents recueillis pour la formation de l'œuvre en question ont été transmis par la famille elle-même. Tel qu'il ressort du Heraldic Magazine publié par le Heraldic College of Rome.
