Famiglia bresciana che si ritiene ramo staccatosi sullo scorcio del secolo XIV dal più antico ceppo di Brognoli, i quali da Gandino bergamasco si propagarono nel Bergamasco e in fine nel Bresciano. Questo Gandino di Bergamo, probabilmente, si arricchì col commercio dei pannolani, che era in quei tempi fiorentissimo nella borgata. Così riferisce Celestino nella sua "Historia de Bergomo": "Quivi è il maggior traffico di pannina che in tutta la Valle, poichè da Gandino solo escono ogni anno da tremila panni alti, et quattromila de bassi, che si mandeno in Hungaria, in Polonia, Alemagna alta e bassa, nella Marcha, Romagna, et nel Regno di Napoli. Per queste egli è pieno di mercanti ricchissimi, et copioso di superbi palagi". La prova di tali diramazioni è data dai codici cartacei, esistenti nell'Archivio Comunale di Brescia, nei processi di Nobiltà. E' da notarsi però che non tutta la famiglia di Bergamo e Brescia

D'argento a due rami di prugno fogliati, fruttati, intrecciati in corona al naturale con la campagna mareggiata d'azzurro. Ornamenti: Lo scudo pei maschi è sormontato da elmo e corona da nobile e ornati di cercine e di svolazzi d'argento e d'azzurro e per le femmine, omessi tutti gli altri ornamenti, sarà sormontato dalla sola corona da nobile e posto fra due rami di palma al naturale, divergenti e decussati sotto la punta dello scudo.
