Famille agrégée jusqu'en 1410 au noble Conseil de Trévise, pour laquelle Lodovico di Girolamo eut la confirmation de la noblesse avec SRA le 5 mai 1820. La bibliographie de cette famille est mentionnée par le marquis Vittorio Spreti, dans son Enciclopedia Storico-Nobiliare Italiana imprimé à Milan en 1936. Collecte de manuscrits à contenu héraldique et noble-généalogique, dans des bibliothèques et dans de nombreuses archives publiques et privées. Les témoignages et documents recueillis pour la formation de l'œuvre en question ont été transmis par la famille elle-même. Tel qu'il résulte de la Revue Héraldique publiée par le Collège Héraldique de Rome.
