Der wirkliche Name dieser Familie wäre "M. Palatino" von Villagana, weil sie mit der Hochzeit von Wenzel q. Gegründet wurde. Carlo (1730-1780), Martinengo-Palatino, mit Marianna q. Giovanni di Villagana und Villachiara (v. Zurück) letzte seiner Familie; Im Laufe der Jahre wurde der Name vereinfacht und "M. Villagana" wird jetzt verwendet. Mit den beiden Söhnen Wenzels: Karl IV. (Nr. 1762) und Leonardo (Nr. 1765) ist die Familie in zwei Zweige unterteilt. Ramo I - Carlo gehörte zu den Patrioten der Brescia-Revolution von 1796, napoleonischer Offizier, Cav. der Eisernen Krone, Verschwörer gegen Österreich; Er heiratete Teresa Gritti am 4. Oktober 1819 und hatte Wenceslaus, Theophilus (geb. 1821, gest. 1880) und Ferdinand (1826-1903).
