Famiglia catalana un cui ramo si trasferì in Sardegna nel secolo XIV con un Gil, che partecipò alla spedizione dell'Infante Alfonso. Si stabilirono a Cagliari, dove formarono due rami: il primo discese da Gonsalvo, che ebbe il feudo di Solanas, che rivendette nel 1363 ai Carroz. Il secondo discese da Pietro, che nel 1352 acquistò Baniaria, Sibilis e Baratoli nel Sigerro; egli si trasferì ad Iglesias, dove nel 1363 divenne camerlengo. Nel 1363 suo figlio ebbe una controversia con gli abitanti di Iglesias perchè cercò di limitare il flusso dell'acqua di Baniaria alla città. La sua discendenza si estinse nel 1420 e i feudi furono ereditati dai Garces di Marsiglia.
