Antiga família Oriunda da Úmbria, onde o sobrenome ainda é difundido. Um ramo floresceu em Assis e deu vários conselheiros ao município. Levò per Arma: azul para a faixa dourada, encimado por um mártir natural que passa sobre a banda, com a cabeça virada e olhando para uma estrela dourada, colocada no canto esquerdo da cabeça. Outro ramo. Ele figurou muito entre nobres conselheiros e magistrados municipais depois de meados do século XV. Não há notícias desta família. Outra família levantou suas armas. D'azzurro, com veado prateado, acompanhado por três cabeças de marta do mesmo, duas na cabeça e uma na ponta. Outra família siciliana com o título baronial. Michele era o segredo de Naro e, em 20 de setembro de 1767, obteve as cartas do observatório para o título de Torre d'Arena; um barão Francesco, doutor em leis, foi juiz civil de Naro em 1798-99 e capitão da justiça
