Famiglia antica, che nel 1390 diede il notajo Jacopo del già signor Matteo abitante a S.Maria in Organo, aggregato al Nobile Consiglio nel 1405, al quale pure appartennero Isidoro nel 1422, e Paolo Agostino nel 1434. Un'altra famiglia Del T. o Tessaroli, originaria ab antico dalle popolose terre di Tregnago o d'Abbazia Calavena, è nominata in antiche carte, dalla quale uscirono parecchi notaj, i cui nomi ed il rango, o la cronica,sono descritti nei registri della Camera Notarile di Verona. Questa seconda famiglia dura tuttavia, ed è imparentata con alcune nobili case vicentine e veronesi. Fu costume delle più antiche famiglie, le quali dopo la caduta del Romano Imperio, in quella inondatione de' Barbari, havendo i loro cognomi, sicome gli studi, e altre cose belle smarrito e restati solo con semplici nomi, trarre di nuovo i loro cognomi, e il loro casato da' nomi proprii paterni, e de' maggiori.
