Noble Lucchese family, originally from Massarosa, who obtained citizenship with Antonio, from Cipriano, in 1525. He gave numerous Elders and Gonfalonieri to the Republic, including Mauro who covered the supreme judiciary five times from 1529 to 1538, and Francesco Maria, ambassador in 1791 to the imper.
