Ebbero poscia tutti li onori del Campidoglio. Angelo Mazzatosta fu Canonico di S. Pietro, 1497. Tutio fu Guardiano del Salvatore del 1544. Nell'Arch. Cap. si vede un istromento di promissione de non offendendo, tra il Nobil Uomo Marcello Caposucchi ed il Nobil Uomo Riccardo de Mazzatosti sotto il dì 4 Gennaio 1511, Pietro Paolo Manfredi, Notaro. Parla di questa famiglia Flavio Biondi nella sua istoria fol. 221. Il Coleine nel Diario sotto li 7 aprile 1549 dice: Fu de Domenica lo Sig. Claudio Mazzatosti e M.r Cencio Cosseri furono ammazzati dal Sig. Carlotto Orsini in casa sua. Parentarono nobilmente con Cencij, con Caposucchi, con Massimi, con Mentebuona, con Orsini. Lapide sepolcrale in Santa Maria Maggiore.
