La familia Mei de Castelfidardo reconoce como su progenitor un santo vivo entre los siglos XVIII y XVIII. Estaba entre los principales de su tierra natal y decía caracteres claros. Debemos recordar a Andrea, reconocido jurisconsulto, arcipreste en Belvedere Ostrense, donde construyó la iglesia de S. Maria a sus expensas; Murió en 1821 en la década de 1980. Teodoro, un conocido abogado de S. Rota, dejó su rica biblioteca a sus sobrinos Giov. Battista y Andrea, de Sante. Murió en 1839 unos 50 años. Estos en 1855 lo donaron al Municipio de Ancona, que en esa ocasión los condecoró a ellos y a los descendientes del título de Nobles de Ancona. Gio. Battista arriba, nació el 7 de febrero. En 1819, ocupó cargos importantes bajo el gobierno pontificio y luego bajo el italiano. Fue camarero secreto de la espada y el cabo supernumerario de los papas Gregorio XVI, Pío IX

Partito: nel primo troncato: a) di azzurro a tre gigli di argento sotto un lambello a 4 pendenti di rosso; b) di verde al monte di tre cime all'italiana di argento sormontato da un picchio al naturale, con la fascia d'oro attraversante sulla partizione caricata di tre stelle d'argento di 6 punte (Mei); nel secondo di azzurro all'agnello di argento, sorreggente una bandierina di rosso biforcata, passante su pianura erbosa uscente dalla punta, accompagnato in capo da una cometa in palo accostata da due stelle (6) il tutto d'oro (Gentilucci).
