I discendenti di questa famiglia intervenivano nella qualità di nobili alle corti generali del regno e Don Raimondo Melise, col figlio Don Giovanni Stefano, è compreso nell'Elenco Ufficiale delle persone nobili, dimoranti nella città di Cagliari nel 1825, ed esistente nell'Archivio della R.Segreteria di Stato e di Guerra presso il viceré di Sardegna. Spettano pertanto a questa famiglia i titoli di cavaliere (m.) e di nobile (mf.), con la qualifica di Don (mf.). Altro ramo.
