Lodovico, di Francesco, detto Ceccone, fu il primo della famiglia che da Buggiano passò a stabilirsi a Pescia, ove il 12 gennaio 1409 fu ammesso al godimento di tutti gli onori. I suoi matrimoni con Giovanna di Cerbone Cavalcanti e con Fiorina di Michele Bracciolini provano come la famiglia fosse considerata fino da quel tempo di rango elevatissimo. Da Francesco, di Lodovico, uno dei priori di Pescia nel'anno 1447, nacquero Lodovico, Lucantonio, Filippo e Gio. Battista. Lodovico, di Francesco, si trasferì in Pisa, dove nel 1471 esercitava la mercatura. Ne fu poi espulso, e nel 1499 lo troviamo in Pescia in qualità di contestabile dei soldati levati da quel luogo a richiesta dei commissari dell'esercito fiorentino che era all'assedio di Pisa. Il figlio di Lodovico, Antonio, sposò Maria, di Niccolò Vinta, dal quale gli nacque un altro Antonio, che nel 1539 viene indicato come "mercator et civis pisanus". Sposò Antonia,
