Die Familie Misciatelli stammt aus Alfina. Papst Leo XII. Bestätigte 1824 den bereits in der Familie genossenen Marquis-Titel für den erstgeborenen Zweig. Dieser erbliche Titel wurde später für alle Männchen mit RR bestätigt. LL. PP. 3. Februar 1901. Die Familie ging erhebliche Bündnisse mit Ravizza, Berlingeri Guidotti-Magnani, Grizzi, Rospigliosi, Pallavicini, Mocenigo Soranzo und Malvezzi Campeggi ein. Luigi, geboren am 18. September 1861, war Unterpräfekt der apostolischen Paläste, apostolischer Protonotar des Vatikans, Ehrenritter und Andacht Maltas, Kommandeur des Roten Adlers von Francis Joseph, der Ehrenlegion der preußischen Krone von St. Michael von Bayern und Konstantinischen Ritter.
