La familia Misciatelli nace de Alfina. El Papa León XII en 1824 confirmó el título de marqués que ya disfrutaba en la familia de la rama primogénita. Este título hereditario más tarde para todos los hombres se confirmó con RR. LL. PÁGINAS. 3 de febrero de 1901. La familia entabló alianzas sustanciales con Ravizza, Berlingeri Guidotti-Magnani, Grizzi, Rospigliosi, Pallavicini, Mocenigo Soranzo, Malvezzi Campeggi. Luigi, nacido el 18 de septiembre de 1861, fue subprefecto de los palacios apostólicos, protonotario apostólico del Vaticano, Caballero de Honor y Devoción de Malta, comandante del Águila Roja de Francisco José, de la Legión de Honor de la corona de Prusia, de San Miguel de Baviera y el Caballero Constantiniano. Piero, valiente arcade de la Tiberina, director de revistas históricas y literarias. La familia. está registrado en el Libro de Oro de la nobleza italiana y en la Lista de Nobles Oficiales italianos con el título
