Famiglia originaria della Spagna, stabilitasi a Parma al seguito dei duchi di Borbone nel settecento. Emanuele Mojares aiutante di camera del duca D. Ferdinando di Borbone ottenne dalla Comunità di Parma con decr. del 20 dicembre 1773 per sè e pei suoi disc. la Nobiltà Parmigiana. Vincenzo, figlio di Emanuele, intimo cubiculario del duca, fu padre di Pietro, capitano nell'esercito di Maria Luigia d'Austria, il quale, sposato nel 1820 con la baronessa Eleonora Caranza, ottenne dalla duchessa la conferma del titolo di Nobile, per lui e disc. (m.) con decreto 20 maggio 1840; in detto decreto viene concesso alla famiglia lo stemma sopra riportato. Vincenzo di Pietro, sposò la contessa Antonietta Bertioli di Parma, da cui nacquero Ugo, dec. 1916, Guglielmo, Isabella. La famiglia è iscritta nell'Elenco Ufficiale col titolo di Nobile (m.) in persona di Pietro, ed è rappresentata da: Guglielmo, di Vincenzo, di Pietro. Sorella: Isabella.
