Di questa famiglia fu l'Autore C. N. Cornelio Dolabella, i cui discendenti furono detti Dolabelli, della qual famiglia ne parla l'Orsini nella divisione della divisione della famiglia Cornelia dicendo, che i Dolabelli ebbero sette Consoli, ed il primo fu quel P. Cornelio Dolabella Massimo, che fu Console con C. N. Domizio Calvino nel 470 che Trionfo de' Galli, e Toscani, e per seguitare la divisione della famiglia Cornelia accennata dal suddetto Orsino.
