De otra línea procedió Bartolomé de M., Escribano de Santiago de Chile en 1722, y esposo de doña María Eugenia Donichea, a la que hizo madre de María de la Concepción de M. y Donichea, llamada también María de la Concepción Díez Navarrete, que fué esposa de José del Alcázar, Conde de la Marquina. De otra línea apellidada Caro de M., descendieron: Diego Caro de M., originario de España, que pasó a Chile con los primeros conquistadores y casó en la ciudad de Santiago con doña Sabina de Miranda y Ruega; Daminana Caro de M.,
