Moró esta familia en la ciudad de Génova (Italia), y algunos de sus caballeros vistieron hábitos de nuestras Ordenes Militares españolas. Jácome M., natural de Génova, tuvo en su esposa doña Brígida Mayola, de igual naturaleza, a Benito M. y Mayola, natural de Génova, que casó con doña Antonia de la Torre y Guana, de la misma naturaleza (hija de Domingo de la Torre y de doña Batina Guana, ambos de Génova), naciendo de esa unión Agustín M. de la Torre, natural de Génova y Caballero de la Orden de Alcántara, en la que ingresó en 1637. Contrajo matrimonio con doña Eugenia María Balbi Spínola, de igual naturaleza (hija de Nicolás Balbi, natural de Génova, y de doña Juana María Spínola, natural de Madrid). Fué su hijo Francisco María M. y Balbi, natural de Madrid y Caballero de la Orden de Alcántara, con fecha 1666. De la misma familia procedió Bartolomé M., natural de Génova, esposo de doña Catalina Balui, de igual naturaleza, y ambos padres de Benito Alonso M. y Balui, natural de Génova, que se unió en matrimonio con doña Pabla Justiniano e Imbrea, de la misma naturaleza (hija de Esteban Justiniano y de doña Magdalena Imbrea, ambos de Génova). Procrearon a Bartolomé M. y Justiniano, natural de Génova y Caballero de la Orden de Calatrava desde 1661.
