Ovidio di Bartolomeo, dottore collagiato di filosofia e di medicina e dottore di legge, fu degli anziani, e suo fratello Giambattista militò nell'armata veneta contro il Turco nel 1571. Giambattista di Vincenzo, podestà di Sanseverino e poi commissario generale apostolico nel regno di Napoli sopra gli spogli. Marcantonio, figlio del conte Giambattista, di Bologna, fu creato marchese da Giovanni-Casimiro Re di Polonia nel 1659. Altro ramo. Famiglia originaria di Montalbano nel Lazio, di cui un Montanaro figlio di Pace nel 1383 fu giudice in Verona poi vicario pretorio e rettore di Belluno negli anni 1385 e 1386. Tommaso nel 1405 ed un altro Pace nel 1449 furono del nobile Consiglio veronese. Altra famiglia alzò per arma. D'azzurro, ad un crescente d'oro accompagnato in capo da due stelle dello stesso, ed in punta da un poggio di tre cime di verde movente dalla punta.
