A casa solar infanzona de M. está localizada no lugar de Montiano (cujo nome ele levou), no município de Valle de Mena e parte de Villarcayo (Burgos). Este lugar pertenceu primeiro a Biscaia e, quando mais tarde foi incorporado a Castela, os indivíduos desta linhagem passaram para Bilbau e outras cidades do senhorio. Os mayorazgos de M., Basagoiti, Lezamiz, Landaverde e Arrizubiagajáuregui, e o patrocínio do convento de Agustinas da cidade de Arciniega, nas Encartaciones, fundadas por Pedro Ruiz de M.
