Ancienne et noble famille européenne, originaire d'Espagne, de vertu claire et ancestrale, qui s'est répandue dans le monde entier, au cours des siècles. La noblesse évidente de cette maison est également confirmée par sa présence dans l'œuvre héraldique fondamentale "Repertorio de blasones de la comunidad hispánica - letras MN-Ñ-OPQR" de Vicente de Cadenas y Vicent (29 avril 1915 - 21 décembre 2005) , le Chroniqueur Roi d'Armes du Royaume d'Espagne. La légende raconte que la famille Morado est l'une de celles qui ont repeuplé la ville d'Estella, à la fin du XIIe siècle. Une autre branche familiale avait par contre son berceau dans la province de La Coruña, où elle apparaît depuis 1404, c'est-à-dire lorsqu'un "Gonzalo do Morado" apparaît dans un document. Nous nous souvenons également de : Sebastian Morado, vicaire à Rosario de La Coruña, florissant en 1612 ; Miguel Morado, chevalier, florissant en 1659 ; Pedro Morado, docteur
