Ancient and noble Italian family, originally from Genoa, of clear and ancestral virtue, that has worldwide spread over the centuries. Originally known as Morandi, when in 1528 it became part of the De Grilli hotel (= organizational structure in which several families linked by blood or a common interest banded together) it was already divided into many branches, some of which over time underwent changes in the surname, including the forms Corandi, Corando and Corande.
