De Vizcaya. Entroncaron con los Arana. Juan de M. tuvo en su mujer doña Ana de M., a Martín de M., bautizado en Gautéguiz el 21 de Mayo de 1595. Casó con doña María Micaela Gueztarain, y procrearon a Juan de M. y Gueztarain, bautizado en la anteiglesia de Cortézubi, del partido de Guernica, el 28 de Marzo de 1622, que contrajo matrimonio con doña Antonia de Incháurraga. Estos esposos fueron Señores de las casas de M. y Arana, y padres de Ignacio de M. e Incháurraga, que sigue, y segundo y tercero Magdalena y Ana de M. e Incháurraga. Ignacio de M. e Incháurraga casó con doña María Aristi, y tuvieron a Francisco de M. y Aristi, bautizado en Azcóitia (Guipúzcoa), el 21 de Enero de 1683, que celebró su enlace con doña Joaquina de Astigarraga, y fueron padres de Antonio de M. y Astigarraga, bautizado el 10 de Octubre de 1730, que casó con doña María Maunela Arana y Acha, a la que hizo madre de Antonio Agustín de M. y Arana, bautizado en Lequeitio el 7 de Noviembre de 1769, que pasó a Méjico y residió en la ciudad de Guadalajara. Josefa Vicenta y Ana Joaquina de M. y Arana.
