Antica e nobile famiglia sarda, originaria della Spagna, di chiara e ancestrale virtù, che nei secoli si è diffusa in tutto il mondo. Questa Casa ha avuto la sua residenza principale a Cagliari, dove è presente fin dal XVII secolo. Nel 1676 il dottor Giuliano era avvocato dell'establishment reale, nel parlamento di Las Navas. Suo fratello il dottor Francesco, insigne avvocato, ottenne il cavalierato ereditario nel 1679. Lo stesso fu ammesso allo stato militare nel 1688 durante il Parlamento Montellano. Un altro ramo della famiglia fiorì ad Orroli, in provincia di Nuoro, nel XVIII secolo. Nel 1710 questo ramo ottenne il cavalierato ereditario e la nobiltà, con un Agostino i cui discendenti, nel corso dell'ottocento, si ramificarono in Siurgus Donigala e Suelli. Dall'analisi dei colori e dei simboli dello stemma possiamo avere maggiori informazioni sulle virtù della famiglia. La tintura azzurra, essendo il colore del cielo, simboleggia tutte le virtù
