Famiglia illustre, dalla quale uscirono Bonzanino podestà di Cerea nel 1261; Bonifacio del fu Lanfranchino uno dei delegati alla riforma degli Statuti della casa dei mercanti nel 1319; Barnaba giudice in patria nel 1374; Pietro Filippo vicecollaterale generale nel 1471; Angelo, suo figlio, sostituitogli nella stessa carica l'anno 1517. Nel 1519 questa casa fu aggregata al nobile Consiglio di Verona, e terminò in Aleardina maritata in Giovan Galeazzo Canziani nobile abitante in Verona, il quel fu detto poi Muronovo, discendente da valorosi condottieri di gente d'arme, e vicario e giusdicente dell'Abate di S. Zeno nelle ville di Erbè, Trevenzuolo, Roncolevà, Marega, ed altri luoghi. Questa seconda casa si estinse in Prudenza ed Emilia, la prima moglie di Carlo, la seconda di Andrea Vitali. Arme giusta: D'azzurro, ad un muro merlato di rosso, murato di nero, occupante la metà inferiore dello scudo e sostenente un leone illeopardito d'oro.
