Antica famiglia pisana, trasferitasi poi in Sicilia. Il primo che di lei venne in Sicilia, col Vescovo di Mazzara Goffredo Rincione, fu, nel 1300, Angiofredo Naccarone, suo stretto parente, il quale si casò in quella città e ivi, ricco e potente divenne, servì in molte occasioni il re Federico II. Procreò egli Francesco e Alberto, i quali vissero nella loro patri nobilmente come si vede nelle loro antiche Cappelle fondate nella Chiesa Cattedrale di Mazzara, nel 1574. Da Francesco e Costanza, sua moglie, ne nacque Giacomo, che si casò con Mansueta. Tuttavia, per i gravi incontri che ebbe con Nicolò Peralta, Signor di Mazzara, con suo cugino Giuffo, figlio di Alberto restò assai rovinato. Alcuni loro beni, però, furono poscia recuperati dai loro figli Francesco, Giovanni e Costanza Naccarone.
