Da Perugia si trasferirono in Tortona del XII secolo e forse anche prima, se come afferma il Salice, in un istrumento del 1117 sono citati il palazzo di loro proprietà, già degli Osmeri, in contrada Venni o Vindi, e un Nadella Stanislao qm. Marciano (Annali I, 145); Mancano notizie sino al secolo XIV segnalate dalla presenza di Camilla nel monastero di S. Caterina in Tortona; un Antonio, nato nel 1601 e canonico della cattedrale fu investito verso la metà di quel secolo della commenda dell'abbazia di S. Paolo, situata fuori le mura nei pressi dell'Ossona; mancò a 51 anni il 6 aprile 1652; un altro Antonio il 9 luglio 1708 fu designato quale membro della delegazione che doveva ricevere la regina Elisabetta Cristina, unitasi con procura a Vienna con Carlo VI re di Spagna ed in procinto di raggiungerlo a Madrid transitando per Tortona; ma L'Nadella si sottraeva all'incarico
