Famiglia assai antica e nobile, originaria di Lugano. I nomi dei Naghi sono ricordati in testi, atti notarili e contratti di vendita di terre e case fin da tempi molto remoti. Si trapiantò nel Cremasco dove esercitò l'industria della lana, e fattasi ricca portò sua stanza in Venezia. Un Giovanni Battista e Bortolomeo di detta famiglia mediante la consueta elargizione di ducati 100 mille vennero ascritti al veneto patriziato il 22 marzo 1661, avendo riportato in Senato il 21 marzo detto anno voti favorevoli 158, contrari 21, nessuno non sincero, e nel Maggior Consiglio voti favorevoli 638, contrari 105, non sinceri 25. Altro ramo. Antica e nobile famiglia del Piemonte, con residenza nella città di Novara. Da tempo non sono pervenute più notizie della suddetta stirpe. Altro ramo. Antica ed illustre famiglia originaria di Bologna. Pare siano molto riguardevoli i soggetti viventi di questa famiglia che con tanto decoro sostentano
