Questa Famiglia de' Nobili, o Signori di Vaglia è stata molto considerata da Scipione Ammirati, e dal Segaloni ministro già di questa Riformagioni di Fiorenza, che al nostro parere è stato uno de' più diligenti Alberisti de' suoi tempi, a segno tale, che ogni Scrittore riconoscendo la sua mano, puole bene assicurarli d'una perfezione nelle sue opere. E però fissando noi poi l'occhio in questa Famiglia c'è parso bene di pubblicarla alle Stampe, avendo però riscontrato qualunque scrittura daì sopraddetti citata, col fare ancora travagliare Francesco Patriarchi Ministro di questa Camera Fiscale, quale in fede prova quanto hanno scritto gli sopraddetti Autori da quel Nardo, che diede la Casata, o cognome a questa Famiglia detta prima da Vaglia, e de' Nobili di Vaglia, come apparisce dalla sua fede autentica fatta alli 13 di Novembre 1674 il che confronta con quella, che ci fa Lorenzo Venturini, e Francesco Migliorotti scrivano alle
