Sehr alte und adelige Familie von Rom, deren Mitglieder mit dem Marquisat von Mompeo und der Grafschaft Mustiolo investiert wurden. Diese Familie schenkte der Kirche zwei Kardinäle: Gregor 1634 und Benedikt, der 1832 starb. Franziskus war 1515 Konservator von Rom, eine Ehre, die auch Jerome 1587, Giovanni Antonio 1626, Horaz 1650, Fabrizio 1562 und andere hatte. Unter den Rittern des heiligen Johannes von Jerusalem finden wir 1588 einen Giovanni Battista Naro, der Prior von England und Capua war und 1683 General der Galeeren des Ordens und einen Francesco Naro. Francesco heiratete Porzia, den letzten Spross des Hauses Patrizi nahm den Nachnamen und das Emblem dieses letzten Hauses an. Anderer Zweig. Er lebte mit klarem Adel, der Familie Naro, in der Stadt Syrakus und in anderen Teilen des Königreichs.
