In un'antico testo araldico, relativo alla famiglia Nasari, abbiamo l'onore di leggere: "Si scorge antichissima e Feudaria, nel tempo del Conte Ruggiero, la famiglia Nasari, di cui haveva passato Riccardo Nasari, Francese col medesimo Conte, à servirlo con l'arte militare, del quale acquistò in ricompensa un Casale, che fù chiamato dal suo cognome Nasari, e la gabella del vino della Città di Messina, per la cui morte il medesimo conte li diede ad Ansaldo Visconte d'Arri marito d'Uloa Nasari, figlia del predetto Riccardo. D'Ansaldo, ed Uloa Visconte e N. nè nacquero Riccardo, Bonsignoro, e Ruggiero, che per il dominio del Casale di N., perderono il cognome di Visconte, e furono chiamati di N. Quanta è illustre d'antica nobiltà la famiglia Visconte in Italia nè fanno fede le Historie Genologiche, non si può arbitrare se la famiglia Visconte, che venne in Sicilia derivò da Pisa, over di Milano.
