Patrizia napolitana, de origem espanhola muito nobre; acredita-se que ele tenha descido de Pietro Navarrete, um parente de sangue de Ordogno II, rei da Galícia e Leão, chamado de flagelo dos mouros e um valente capitão na guerra contra os infiéis. Passado para Nápoles em 1630, foi adicionado ao Seggio di Porto em 26 de julho de 1711 e recebido na SMO de Malta a partir de 1703. Decorado com o grandado de primeira classe da Espanha, na pessoa de Francesco Navarrate, marquês do terceiro; bem como os títulos de duque de Bernalda com antiguidade desde 1607, de marquês do terceiro com antiguidade desde 1545 e de conde de Noia com antiguidade desde 1494, títulos passados por sucessão feminina no Caracciolo di Brienza. Recebido na ordem Constantiniana desde 1786 e reinterpretado por sua antiga nobreza nos guarda-costas reais. A presença do lema na bibliografia documentada da família confirma a nobreza
