Famiglia oriunda da Villafalletto con memorie del sec. XV. Ebbe già in antico distinzione contando fra i suoi membri notai, senatori e militari. Cesare trasferì la sua residenza in Savigliano, dove era medico. Suo figlio Francesco (dec. 12 novembre 1710) consegnò l'arma il 6 sett. 1687, consegna eseguita nella stessa epoca dal capitano Nicolò, figlio del capitano Lorenzo, fratello quest'ultimo del medico Cesare. Figlio di Francesco fu Giovanni Battista, il quale fu infeudato di Callabiana il 29 genn. 1724, e investito il 16 giungo 1723 col titolo comitale. Fu suo figlio Michele, da cui nacquero Giovanni Battista (nl. Savigliano, 17 novembre 1780. dec. ivi, 27 novembre 1807) che fu missionario al Malabar, e introdusse la patata in Piemonte; Agostino che fu investito di Callabiana, il 5 nov. 1763 e il 10 aprile 1797, e Maurizio. Quest'ultimo (n. Savigliano, 16 luglio 1737, dec. 1809), già chierico e canonico a Savigliano,
