En la Rioja. Probablemente originario de la villa de Nestares (cuyo nombre tomara), del partido judicial de Torrecilla de Cameros. Una de sus ramas radicó en la villa de Ventosa, del partido judicial de Nájera, y de ella fué Juan Andrés N., natural de Ventosa, que casó con su deuda doña Ana N., natural de Hornos de Moncalvillo, villa del partido judicial de Logroño, a la que hizo madre de José Andrés N., natural de Ventosa, que contrajo matrimonio con doña Josefa Castillo Valderrama, natural de la villa de Arenzana de Abajo, del partido judicial de Nájera (hija de Juan Castillo y de doña Catalina Valderrama, ambos naturales de Arenzana de Abajo), naciendo de esa unión Juan Andrés N. y Castillo, natural de Sevilla, Capitán de Mar y Guerra de la Real Armada y Caballero de la Orden de Santiago, en la que ingresó el 9 de Septiembre de 1690.
