Paolo, ed Andrea N. della Città di Novara d'Italia, servirono molt'anni con l'arte militare il Rè Alfonzo nel regno di Napoli, ed in ricompenza de' loro serviggi hebbero tutti gl'introiti della Regia Corte della Città di Piazza nel 1443, per la qual cagione si fermaron in quella Città, e presero per moglie due sorelle di casa Aidone, che gli generarono Leonardo, Gio: Bernardo, Guglielmo, Pierluiggi, e Gio: Filippo che governarono co i primi carichi la loro patria Piazza. Così parimente Pietro, e Paulo N., che fù Giustitiero della Camara di Piazza tre anni. Però i posteri de' quali passando in altre Città e Terre del Regno vissero sempre nobilmente. Altro ramo. Originaria di Novara, trapiantata in Sicilia da Paolo ed Andrea Niglio ai servigi di Re Alfonso, il quale concesse loro nel 1443 gl'introiti della R. Corte della città di Piazza.
