Sul finire del secolo XVI, la famiglia ebbe ingresso nel Consiglio nobile di Vicenza, ma la nobiltà in quell'epoca era più che centenaria, poichè per essere ammessi al Collegio dei giuristi faceva duopo dimostrare il possesso di vera e reale nobiltà di cento anni. Prospero di Francesco era uno dei componenti il Consiglio nel 1580. Questa famiglia ebbe la conferma della nobiltà con S.R.A. 14 luglio 1820 ed i seguenti ottennnero il riconoscimento con D.M. 28 giugno 1921 del titolo di nobile mf.: Francesco, n. Volarghe, 16 novembre 1856, di Prospero, di Francesco e di Angela Milan (1° letto), spos. 4 ottobre 1884 con Isabella Pavan. Fratelli: 1. Umberto, n. Voghera, 26 febbraio 1882, di Prospero e di Maria Anna Acquaroli (2° letto), spos, Padova 6 settembre 1906 con Maria Pegoraro; b) Fernando, n. Padova, 10 maggio 1913; c) Fabio, n. Milano, 17 settembre 1915; d) Fulvia, n. Milano, 9
