Este linaje es originario de vizcondado de Bearne, en el Rosellón. Pasó a la isla de Mallorca. Juan N. y Aspe, natural de Perpiñán, capitán de infantería y caballero de la Orden de San Hermenegildo, fue el que fundó la casa de su apellido que existe en Mallorca. En principios del siglo XIX casó con doña Mariana Pizá y March, de la que tuvo a Juan N. y Pizá, que heredó las casas y mayorazgo de sus padres. Por referencias de historiadores de la época y otras averiguadas por Araldis en los archivos registrales de ciudades y otros privados, podríamos afirmar, pero no asegurar, que este escudo u otro muy similar a él, apareció inicialmente desde el siglo XI al XIV, particularmente en la negociación llevada a cabo en el concilio de Palencia en que se anuló el matrimonio de Doña Urraca, reina de Castilla y León desde 1109 a 1126, con Alfonso I el batallador rey de Aragón y Navarra. Todo ello parece coincidir con la memoria familiar de algunos de los miembros de la rama de la familia Noguer.
