Alte und sehr edle Familie von Thiesi in der Provinz Sassari, deren erste bestimmte historische Informationen aus dem zehnten siebten Jahrhundert stammen. Die Familie erhielt 1681 die erbliche Ritterschaft mit einem Peter, der 1688 während des Monteleone-Parlaments in die Militärstation aufgenommen wurde. Seine Söhne bildeten zwei Zweige der Familie: Der Zweig von Thiesi stammte von Dr. Gavino Diego ab und er erlangte im 18. Jahrhundert den Adel, aber seine Abstammung starb im 18. Jahrhundert aus. Auf der anderen Seite der Söhne von Pietro Paolo wurde ein Francesco geboren, der den Adel vom Vizekönig Chacon erhielt, aber nicht in der Lage war, die Exequatur zu erhalten; 1735 wurde es jedoch vom Savoyen bestätigt. Anderer Zweig. Alte Oristano-Familie, deren Ursprünge bis ins 18. Jahrhundert zurückreichen.
