Noble Palermitan family, of which Villabianca offers; a very clear Pietro O. minister president of the Tribunal of the r. Heritage 1675, and independent of the Madrid Council, died 1678; a Michele first duke of Aquaviva 1686; other invested Peter 1688, superior minister of the Company of Charity 1708; an invested Francesco 1751, minister as above and progenitor of the living duke of Acquaviva Francesco O. and Del Castillo. Authors who speak of this family: V. Palizzolo Gravina Barone di Ramione, in his work "The Blazon in Sicily or Heraldic Collection", printed in Palermo in 1871-75, offered many interesting news about this family, and of the glorious traditions of this island. Together with Minutoli, Invges, Mugnos and more than a tireless Marquis of Villabianca, the work collected documents, parchments and testimonies transmitted by members of the family who speak of their past, the virtues and deeds of their own schiat.
