This family comes from Dronero and to it belonged Francesco, captain and general ammunition, who was invested on 11 July 1654 of Costigliole with the noble title. He married Costanza, Stefano Pasero, at the first wedding, and his sons, among others, Chiaffredo and Stefano, were the latter of the Roccabigliera line. Chiaffredo had from his marriage to Marta di Paolo Ugonino, Francesco Emilio, who had no masculine offspring from his marriage to Andreana Romagnano di S. Vittoria. Stefano, from his wedding with Francesca, of Count Giosuè Grimaldi del Poggetto, had Giovanni Battista and Diego, the latter stiping a line that flourished in Asti. Giovanni Battista was infeuded by Suniglia and Tetti di Vigna on 5 November. 1739 and invested on 23 January. 1741 with the comital title. His eldest son Diego, who was under laws, was invested with Suniglia on March 22, 1749 and handed over the weapon on September
