Vieille noblesse. Falconet, damoiseau, vend le 16 novembre 1245, à la collégiale de St-Georges de St-Paulien, la moitié des droits censitaires qu'il possédait sur le lieu de Blanzac. Galienne sa mère et Agnès sa femme ratifient cette aliénation. Dalmatie, veuve de Bernard, avait legué avant le 15 mai 1277 à l'abbaye de St-Pierre-Latour, pour la célébration d'un anniversaire, la somme de 15 livres monnaie du Puy. Pons Olivier, chevalier, rend hommage en 1296 à l'évêque du Puy, d'une maison que Barthélemy de Chabrot tient de lui à St-Paulien. Béatrix Olivier de Saint Paulien dame de Marcillac, la Valette, Blanzac, Argentières près Beaune, etc. épousa avant 1309 Hugues II du Mas dont la postérité porta parfois le nom du Mas-Olivier.
