Es navarro este linaje. Procede del lugar de Olloqui (cuyo nombre tomó), del Ayuntamiento de Esteríbar y partido judicial de Aoiz. En Guipúzcoa hubo casas del mismo apellido en Usúrbil, del partido de San Sebastián, y en Berástegui, del de Tolosa. Alberto de O. probó su hidalguía en Tolosa en 1676, y Pedro, Francisco, Andrés y Juan Bautista de O., hermano, en Motrico, en 1749. A Sevilla pasó una rama de O. muy distinguida, quedando radicada en aquella ciudad. De esa rama fué Francisco de O. y Mendoza, natural de Sevilla y avecindado allí en mediados del siglo XVII. Casó con doña María Catalina de Cabañas Ortiz de Zúñiga Agreda Neira y Portocarrero, de la misma naturaleza, y fueron padres de Lope Francisco de O. y Mendoza Neira Portocarrero, natural de Sevilla, que contrajo matrimonio con doña Luisa María Matínez Crespo Marchena y Consuegra, de la misma naturaleza (hija de Domingo Martínez Crespo, natural del lugar de Valseco, del partido judicial de Murias de Paredes, en la provincia de León, y de doña María de Marchena y Consuegra, natural de Alcolea, en la Encomienda de San Juan), naciendo de ese enlace Lope José de O. Cabañas y Portocarrero Martínez Crespo, natural de Sevilla, que casó con doña María Gertrudis la Nebe Perea y Padilla, natural de Bailén (Jaén), hija de Felipe de la Nebe Noguera Castro y Figueroa, natural de la villa Los Palacios (Sevilla) y Capitán de Caballos, y de doña Rosalía Perea y Padilla, natural de Alcalá del Valle (Cádiz).
