Da un elenco del XIII sec. si apprende che gli O. possedevano terreni nei pressi dell'abazia di S. Marziano confinanti con beni della chiesa di Tortona; il 12 e 17 marzo 1218 consoli e consiglieri, tra i quali Rodolfo O., stipulano accordi con Genova giurandone l'osservanza; a Giovanni e fratelli il prevosto della Chiesa di Tortona l'8 febbraio 1229 accensa beni ivi, ed a Rodolfo terreni in Ova il 21 febbraio 1232; il 27 novembre 1234 l'abate di S. Marziano permuta con i fratelli Pietro, Rodolfo, Giovanni e Opizzo figlio di Pietro beni in Oreglia. Al Consiglio generale, di cui era membro, Rufino il 6 gennaio 1235 nomina Lantelmo di Casei a procuaratore del comune di Tortona per la pace con Genova affidando allo stesso la scelta degli arbitri sulle questioni tortonesi; il 21 novembre 1238 ed il 23 novembre 1240 il prevosto della Chiesa di Tortona accensa beni ivi
