Linhagem antiga da Catalunha. Seu lote estava localizado na cidade de Alós, na província de Lleida. São as armas dele: um escudo com doze peças de azul e prata, seis de cada esmalte. JR Vila, em sua Memória, nobre do século XVII, atribui a esse sobrenome esses outros escudos: Prata, com quatro faixas onduladas de azul. E gules, com um sino de prata carregado com duas bandeiras gules, colocadas em palitos e em camadas. Eles também usaram: Oito peças de prata e escudo de faixa azul, quatro de cada esmalte. Na opinião de alguns escritores, os O. provêm de um ramo da linhagem aragonesa "Ahoés", que passou para a província de Lleida e aí se estabeleceu.
