Famiglia oriunda di Nizza le cui più antiche memorie ci ricordano un Bartolomeo (n. 1519, dec. 1599), che sposò Bartomeiretta de Marchesan di Roccasparviera, e che fu sindaco di Nizza nel 1587. Pietro (dec. 29 gennaio 1639), nato da queste nozze, ottenne il 16 luglio 1624 concessione di arma. Da lui nacquero, fra gli altri, Bartolomeo che continuò la linea primogenita, Flaminio e Giovanni Francesco, stipiti rispettivamente di due linee secondogenite. Bartolomeo (n. 3 ottobre 1523), che fu notaio, ebbe per primogenito Onorato (n. 1617, dec. 28 ottobre 1668), col quale ebbe ermine la linea, essendogli premorto il figlio Onorato (n. 21 gennaio 1661, dec. 11 ottobre 1668). Flaminio (n. 1598, dec. 1650), di Pietro, fu segretario del duca Carlo Emanuele I (1625), consigliere di Stato e controllare generale delle Finanze (1631). Fu suo primogenito Giovanni Battista (n. 1632, dec. 20 aprile 1694), che fu dottore di leggi, e acquistò
