Una de las familias más antiguas de Padua, galardonada con el título de Conde Palatino por Impe. Federico III en 1452 y por el papa Alejandro VIII en 1691. En 1673 obtuvo de la República. El título de conde veneciano para todos sus descendientes. Fue confirmado noble con resolución soberana el 23 de noviembre de 1819, y decorado con el título de conde del Imperio austríaco con otra resolución soberana el 17 de junio. 1821. Otra rama. Agregado en 1744 al noble Consejo de Vicenza, se confirmó en su nobleza con resolución soberana el 9 de diciembre. 1819. La familia criada como arma. Plateado, en el castillo rojo de tres torres, abierto y con ventanas negras, adornado con gibelina.
