Ursprünglich ein Adliger aus Mailand, dem er in der Zeit der Fraktionen, die er nach Verona verpflanzte, zwei Konsuln schenkte, mit deren Adelsrat er bald vereinigt war. Später wurde ihr der Titel des Grafen von Busolo verliehen und als solcher im goldenen Titelbuch beschrieben. Es wurde mit einem souveränen Beschluss vom 11. März 1820 als edel bestätigt.
