Famiglia feudale catalana un cui ramo si trasferì in Sardegna con un Pietro che fu governatore di Iglesias. Nel 1409 ebbe il riconoscimento della generosità, nel 1410 fu investito della signoria di Acquafredda, nel 1415 acquistò quella di Siliqua e nel 1421 quelle di Villaspeciosa, Galbisa e S. Sperate. Pietro ebbe due figli: un altro Pietro e Giorgio; Pietro, che gli successe nei feudi, morì giovane lasciando un figlio bambino di nome Michele sotto tutela di suo fratello Giorgio. Giorgio, rovinato dai debiti, nel 1460 vendette tutti i feudi della famiglia, nel 1464 però suo nipote Michele recuperò le signorie di Tului e Villaperuccio. I suoi discendenti continuarono a risiedere ad Iglesias: agli inizi del secolo XVII si formarono due rami della famiglia: quello feudale che continuò a risiedere ad Iglesias e un altro che si trasferì a Cagliari con il dottor Pietro Giovanni.
